SUMMARY

The Parts Driver is responsible for delivering truck parts to customers by van or truck. They are responsible for inspecting their delivery vehicle, verifying shipments, loading and unloading their deliveries and reporting any issues to management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive company delivery vehicle
• Load and unload products to be delivered
• Inspect and document delivery vehicle daily
• Add fuel and maintain detailed records of fuel costs and mileage
• Deliver items by the required delivery date and time
• Ensure all items being delivered remain intact during transport and delivery
• Pick up customer returns
• Obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery
• Collect payment as required

• Communicate customer concerns to management
• Comply with requirements as outlined in the OHSA WHMIS, company handbook and all other company issued memos and policies including appropriate use of required PPE

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• OSSD/CCEA
• Previous experience an asset

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Good command of the English language – written and oral.

CERTIFICATE, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

• Valid Ontario Driver’s License.
• Clean Driver’s abstract (last 12 months)
• Dangerous Goods (Training Provided)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Sitting for extended periods of time
• Repetitive bending.
• Ability to lifts up to 50 pounds.

• Monday to Friday – 8am to 5pm, rotational Saturday – 7:30am to 3:00pm
